Bature Brewery

Abuja’s only brewery and tap room, this microbrewery creates beers inspired by Nigeria.  Bature offers cold beer on tap and often hosts events, including quiz nights and viewings of sports matches. The brewery is located in Discovery Mall.

Jabi Lake

This beautiful location offers visitors a host of activities, including canoe rides, speed boat rides, fishing and other water sports. The lake has a beautiful view and is located close to restaurants and the lakeside mall.

Millennium Park

Millennium Park is the largest public park in Abuja and is located in the upscale neighbourhood of Maitama. The park covers 32 hectares and comprises of lush green fields, dotted with walkways and fountains.  The park is divided into two parts, with one side dedicated to unspoiled natural beauty, and the other side to scientific knowledge of the natural environment. The park is a perfect destination for families, with a number of swings and slides for kids to play on.

Aso Rock

Located behind the presidential dwelling, Aso Rock is a 400-metre-high monolith, with a summit height of 936 metres above sea-level. Aso Rock is one of Abuja’s most noticeable features, and many important government buildings have been built around the rock.  The Rock has attracted numerous myths and legends, and it still serves as the location for religious ceremonies. One can climb to the top of the stone and enjoy the magnificent view it offers.

Magicland Amusement Park

Formerly known as Wonderland Amusement Park, Magicland is a modern amusement area and one of the biggest amusement parks in Nigeria. The park is easily accessed from the city centre and offers visitors various dining options and of course, amusement park fun! The park has bumper cars, carousels, roller coasters, and more.
